About the Author

Mo Montgomery (she/her) is a neurodivergent (dyslexic), chronically ill, queer, and disabled writer. The Bluebell Detective Agency is her first book in what she hopes will be an ongoing series. She resides in lovely Portland, Oregon, with her husband Will, their two cats/overlords, a plethora of half-dead houseplants (RIP), and a growing herd of dust bunnies.

Mo’s been a newspaper reporter and columnist, has taught college courses, and currently works for a wildlife nonprofit. She is a member of The Authors Guild, Willamette Writers, Sisters in Crime, and the Pacific Northwest Writers Association. Mo has been known to dance in her kitchen while eating, resulting in her nearly choking to death multiple times. She does not recommend you try it.
